As a quick housekeeping note, Unaligned has rebranded!

Unaligned → For the Republic

As of today, this publication will be rebranding from “Unaligned” to “For the Republic.”

When I first launched Unaligned, my focus was on not being “captured” by partisanship and on speaking for the “exhausted majority” that’s stuck between the polarized extremes.

While that’s still the heart of what I’m doing, the name Unaligned never quite captured my bigger project: working to defend, reform, and help rebuild the American republic itself.

So here’s what’s changing:

• New publication name: For the Republic
• New site domain: https://www.fortherepublic.co
• New site platform: While I enjoy writing on Substack, I’m a techy nerd at heart and have decided to host my writing and broader content creation on my own website running on an open-source platform called Ghost.
• New sending domain: “@mail.forthrepublic.co” (be sure to check your spam folders if you don’t see a new article in your inbox after today!)

Before I sign off, I just wanted to express my sincerest, heartfelt thanks for every single one of my readers. I never really expected more than a few people to subscribe, and of the ones I did expect, it was just people I know in real life who have to at least pretend to read my work out of obligation 😜 But somehow the message has resonated with 150+ people who are subscribed as of today, and I genuinely look forward to continue writing valuable content for every single one of you.
